The truth about lash extensions

Not all lash extensions, products or lash artists are created equal, and it is your responsibility to do your research before booking with just anyone.

Let’s talk about what you can expect from a professionally qualified artist with these frequently asked questions:

Will the lash extensions look fake?

This is the most common question we get asked and the answer is no! Our lashes are individually isolated and applied, with minimal adhesive usage. This means that they will look like your own lashes, just longer, darker and fuller.

What if I want them to look very dramatic?

Our lash artists will do a thorough consultation before your treatment so you know what to expect, and will custom design a bespoke style for you. By offering multiple application techniques we can create any lash look from natural to dramatic.

Are they heavy and will I feel them?

No, we apply our lash extensions in such a way that they literally feel like your own. They will be so soft and comfortable that you will forget that you even have them on!

Do they require a lot of maintenance?

Just about as much as your nails do. You will need a touch-up (fill) appointment every 2-3 weeks, to replace the extensions that have naturally shed with your own lashes.

Do I need to lie down for hours?

Yes, darling! Instead of cramming 10 clients into one day, we CHOOSE to take the time required to give you an absolutely perfect set. Anyone who does it quick-quick really doesn’t care about you, or their craft. Think of it as a full head of foils compared to an on-scalp bleach. Quality and precision takes time – and you could do with a little beauty sleep too!

– Classic Full Set: 1-2 hours | Fill:  – 1 hour to 1.5 hours
– Volume full Set: 2-3 hours | Fill  –  1 hour to 2 hours

Will it break the bank?

Eyelash extensions are not cheap – but they are definitely worth it. Your first full set will obviously be an investment, and thereafter you simply need to maintain them.

How do I take care of them?

Your extensions need to be cleansed and brushed on.
